Naturally, the shortest professor on faculty (Ledewitz) donned my hood. I didn't help any with the "sober attack dog" stance, jaw in the air. Once I made it back to my seat the robe's zipper, which had been threatening to come undone all day, finally did.
Really big banner in case we forgot where we were. Lots of neat costumes. $100k. Not the best deal I've ever gotten!

The mysterious and magical "flowering purple plant that has leaves like a maple tree." I suggested we add the petals to some hot water, make tea, and give it to Michael and watch to see if he started speaking to deities. No one agreed.
